Multiscale-Streamline Inversion for High-Resolution Reservoir Models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The topic of this thesis is streamline-based integration of dynamic data for porous media systems, particularly in petroleum reservoirs. In the petroleum industry the integration of dynamic data is usually referred to as history matching.

Designed Lewis Acid–Base Passivation for High Performance Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Silicon's high cost and long energy payback time remain major barriers to the global expansion of solar power. In contrast, metal–halide perovskites offer abundant, solution‐processable absorbers, and have achieved efficiencies of 25%–30%, positioning them as strong competitors to silicon.

Rayleigh wave dispersion inversion via modified sine cosine algorithm: Application to Hangzhou, China passive surface wave data

open access: yesOpen Geosciences
To better address the inversion problem of Rayleigh wave dispersion data, this study proposes a modified sine cosine algorithm (MSCA). The sine cosine algorithm (SCA) is based on a combination of sine and cosine functions for optimization; however, its ...

An ATpV Regularization Pre-Stack Three-Parameter Inversion Method Based on Weighted Lp

open access: yesIEEE Access
Accurate inversion of AVO tri-parameters (Vp, Vs, $\rho $ ) is critical for reservoir characterization and hydrocarbon exploration. Conventional pre-stack inversion methods often have ill-posedness and poor stratigraphic boundary preservation, and ...

Unified Analytical Framework for Understanding the Operational Stability of Blue Phosphorescent OLEDs: Quantitative Insights Into Exciton Recycling and Bimolecular Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Blue phosphorescent OLEDs remain limited by poor operational stability. Here, a unified analytical framework integrating transient photoluminescence and magneto‐electroluminescence is developed to correlate intrinsic material photophysics with electrically driven degradation.

Time‐Resolved Magnetization Switching Dynamics Driven by Orbital Torques

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Du et al. reveal nanosecond magnetization switching driven by orbital currents using time‐resolved Hall detection. The measurements separate domain nucleation from domain wall propagation and show that Joule heating strongly assists switching by lowering energy barriers.

Coagulative Granular Hydrogels with an Enzyme Catalyzed Fibrin Network for Endogenous Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...

The Earthquake‐Source Inversion Validation (SIV) Project

open access: yes, 2016
Finite‐fault earthquake source inversions infer the (time‐dependent) displacement on the rupture surface from geophysical data. The resulting earthquake source models document the complexity of the rupture process. However, multiple source models for the
