Kinetically Arrested SERS‐Active Aggregates for Biosensing

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Three chemically benign components (AuNP, CB[7] and PEG‐SH) are employed to produce highly‐stable SERS‐active AuNP aggregates able to detect (bio)analytes at low concentrations in high salinity and protein‐containing media. Tunable disassembly is embedded in the AuNP aggregate design, which can be triggered by endogenous thiol‐containing compounds ...

Continuous Light‐Induced Water Oxidation in Polyoxometalate‐Based Photocatalytic Protocells and Prototissues

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Photocatalytic protocells (Ru4PCVs) incorporating a Ru‐based POM synzyme are constructed via the membranization of polymer/nucleotide coacervates. In the presence of a photosensitizer and a sacrificial electron acceptor, Ru4CVs are capable of continuously performing light‐induced water oxidation at room temperature.

Convergent Approach Toward ADP‐Ribosylated Peptides via a Chemoselective Phosphate Condensation

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
This research presents a convergent approach for synthesizing well‐defined ADP‐ribosylated peptides. It involves a regio‐ and chemoselective condensation of phosphoadenosyl (ADPr) fragments with phosphoribosyl peptides, allowing for the creation of various ADP‐ribosylated peptides, including a di‐ADP‐ribosylated‐peptide as the first example of a ...
