Adenocarcinoma of the duodenum
Journal of Surgical Oncology, 1987AbstractThree patients with carcinoma of the first and the third part of the duodenum are reported. A review of the literature shows the diagnosis of this rare lesion of the duodenum is usually late. In order for surgical resection to be successful, suspicion of such a lesion and an aggressive workup is needed.

Adenocarcinoma of the appendix
Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, 1985Three cases of adenocarcinoma of the appendix are reported. All three patients presented with acute appendicitis and the tumors were diagnosed only on histologic examination of the excised appendix. The first patient subsequently had a right hemicolectomy and was proven to have a Dukes' B tumor.

Abstract Of 65 intraoral salivary gland tumors received by the Department of Pathology, Dental Faculty, University of Oslo between 1957 and 1979, 13 (20%) were diagnosed as adenocarcinomas. A study of available clinical data and histologic features indicates that these are slow‐growing neoplasms which metastasize late.

Twenty-five patients with pure primary adenocarcinoma of the bladder were treated in a fifteen-year period. Practically all patients presented with some combination of gross hematuria, irritative lower urinary tract symptoms, or obstruction. Almost half the lesions were at the dome of the bladder.
