EVs and EV‐microRNAs (miRNAs) mediate PDAC‐skeletal muscle communication. miR‐223‐5p reduces METTL14 transcription by targeting MAFA, which subsequently decreases m6A methylation in skeletal muscles, ultimately leading to muscle wasting. This study highlights the absorption of miRNA in PDAC‐derived EVs by skeletal muscles and reveals a previously ...

KRAS/ABHD17C/ALOX15B Axis Promotes Pancreatic Cancer Progression via Ferroptosis Evasion
Phosphorylation of ABHD17C induced by KRASmut/ERK signaling facilitates ALOX15B depalmitoylation and degradation via the CUL4/DDB1/DCAF10 complex, thereby enabling KRASmut‐PDAC cell to evade ferroptosis. Methyl protodioscin inhibits KRASmut‐PDAC progression by disrupting the ABHD17C/ALOX15B interaction and inducing ferroptosis, which represents a ...

Indocyanine Green (ICG)‐guided lung cancer surgery efficacy varies significantly among patients. This study identifies tumor macrophage content as a predictive biomarker. Macrophages are primary ICG reservoirs, storing seven‐fold more ICG than cancer cells.

FA directly binds to residue H378 of DDX6 and promotes its interaction with HSC70, leading to CMA degradation of DDX6, thereby impairing GSK‐3β/β‐catenin signaling, inhibiting ABC transporter proteins, and enhancing chemosensitivity. Abstract ABC transporter protein‐mediated drug efflux is a significant contributor to induced resistance in breast ...

Upregulated glycosyltransferase GALNT9 in neuroendocrine (NE) carcinomas increases O‐GalNAc glycosylation on cell membrane proteins, particularly Annexin‐A2 (ANXA2). Elevated O‐GalNAc glycan induces the binding of NE cancer cells to mannose binding lectin 2 (MBL2), activating the MBL‐MBL associated serine protease (MBL‐MASP) complement pathway in the ...

Spectrum of Lung Adenocarcinoma
Seminars in Ultrasound, CT and MRI, 2019Lung cancer remains the most common cause of cancer death in the United States of America and worldwide despite continued advances in lung cancer screening as well as surgical, medical, and radiation oncological treatments. Adenocarcinoma is the most common histological subtype of primary lung cancer and has recently been reorganized into a spectrum ...

Hepatoid adenocarcinoma in the lung
Lung Cancer, 2002We have experienced a very rare case of hepatoid adenocarcinoma in the lung. A 55-year-old male with a history of smoking was diagnosed as adenocarcinoma of the right S2, and underwent resection of the right upper lobe and dissection of the hilum and mediastinal lymph nodes (complete resection).

Multicentricity of Adenocarcinoma of the Lung
Chest, 1989In a consecutive series of 62 lung resections for bronchogenic adenocarcinoma, 12 patients (19 percent) were found to have two or more adenocarcinomas on careful pathologic examination. These tumors all met the criteria for separate primary malignancy. In only two of the patients were the additional lesions suspected preoperatively.
