Adenosine diphosphate and adenosine monophosphate: enzymatic spectrophotometric determination

The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, 1990

Adenosine 3′, 5′-monophosphate in mycobacteria

Life Sciences, 1977
Abstract Cyclic adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate (cyclic AMP) is present in saprophytic fast growing as well as pathogenic and non-pathogenic slow growing mycobacteria. Apparently there does not seem to be any direct relationship between either intra- or extra-cellular cyclic AMP content with the growth rate of the bacteria.

Measurement of adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate

Analytical Biochemistry, 1967
Abstract A double-isotope dilution and derivative analysis technique is described for the measurement of adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate. Column and paper chromatography are used for the isolation of adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate from tissues and urine.

Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate: Function in Photoreceptors

Science, 1971
Inactivation of adenylate cyclase in outer segments of retinal photoreceptor cells is proportional to the bleaching of rhodopsin. Membranes of the outer segments also contain a particulate, light-insensitive phosphodiesterase of high specific activity. In electrophysiological experiments, application of cyclic adenosine monophosphate along

Effects of adenosine 5′-monophosphate and adenosine 3′,5′-cyclic monophosphate on l cells

Journal of Cell Science, 1975
ABSTRACT The adenine nucleotides, 5′-AMP and 3′5′-cyclic AMP block L cells in the S-phase of the cell cycle. The intracellular level of cyclic AMP is reduced after incubation of cells with 5′-AMP, and rates of uridine transport are increased after incubation with either 5′-AMP or cyclic AMP.
