An Adiabatic Architecture for Linear Signal Processing [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Radio Science, 2005
Using adiabatic CMOS logic instead of the more traditional static CMOS logic can lower the power consumption of a hardware design. However, the characteristic differences between adiabatic and static logic, such as a four-phase clock, have a far ...

Low-power adiabatic 9T static random access memory

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2014
In this paper, the authors propose a novel static random access memory (SRAM) that employs the adiabatic logic principle. To reduce energy dissipation, the proposed adiabatic SRAM is driven by two trapezoidal-wave pulses.

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Flexoelectricity in Photoconversion: Fundamentals, Materials, and Outlooks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mechanical bending of a flexible cantilever induces a strain gradient in the photoactive material. The resulting flexoelectric field couples with photovoltaic and photoconductive effects, modulating charge generation, separation, and collection. A comparative analysis of oxide perovskites, halide perovskites, and two‐dimensional materials is presented,

Multiscale Modelling of the Electrocatalysis of Microenzymes: Insights Into the Performance of Microperoxidase at an Aqueous/Graphene Interface and Their Exploitation to Improve Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel multiscale MD/DFT framework to elucidate microenzyme adsorption and electron transfer is reported. This method reveals distinct configurations for microperoxidase‐11 on graphene and those best suited for electron transfer. Rate constants align with the limited experimental data, establishing this framework as a tool for optimizing microenzyme ...

Improving the positive feedback adiabatic logic familiy [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Radio Science, 2004
Positive Feedback Adiabatic Logic (PFAL) shows the lowest energy dissipation among adiabatic logic families based on cross-coupled transistors, due to the reduction of both adiabatic and non-adiabatic losses.

Atomically Modulating Competing Exchange Interactions in Centrosymmetric Skyrmion Hosts GdRu2X2 (X = Si and Ge)

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Our work bridges the gap between skyrmion discovery and material design by demonstrating how atomic‐scale control of exchange interactions enables tunable skyrmion phase transitions in centrosymmetric magnetic metals. ABSTRACT Magnetic skyrmions are topologically protected spin states that hold promise for shaping the future of electronics.
