Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Local Out-Tournaments with Upset Tournament Strong Components I: Full and Equal {0,1}-Matrix Ranks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A digraph D is a local out-tournament if the outset of every vertex is a tournament. Here, we use local out-tournaments, whose strong components are upset tournaments, to explore the corresponding ranks of the adjacency matrices.

Superconductor-insulator transition in a network of 2d percolation clusters

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper we characterize the superconductor-insulator phase transition on a network of 2d percolation clusters. Sufficiently close to the percolation threshold, this network has a broad degree distribution, and at p=p_c the degree distribution ...

Adjacency Matrix of Product of Graphs

open access: yesKalpa Publications in Computing, 2018
In graph theory, different types of matrices associated with graph, e.g. Adjacency matrix, Incidence matrix, Laplacian matrix etc. Among all adjacency matrix play an important role in graph theory. Many products of two graphs as well as its generalized form had been studied, e.g., cartesian product, 2−cartesian product, tensor product, 2−tensor product

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.

The adjacency matrix and the discrete Laplacian acting on forms

open access: yes, 2015
We study the relationship between the adjacency matrix and the discrete Laplacian acting on 1-forms. We also prove that if the adjacency matrix is bounded from below it is not necessarily essentially self-adjoint.

Vertex colouring using the adjacency matrix

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2019
Recently, graph theory is one of the most rapidly developing sciences. Graphs in its applications are generally used to represent discrete objects and relationships between these objects. The visual representation of a graph is to declare an object as a vertex, while the relationship between objects is expressed as an edge. One topic in graph theory is

Whole‐Body Pattern of Muscle Degeneration and Progression in Sarcoglycanopathies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize whole‐body intramuscular fat distribution pattern in patients with sarcoglycanopathies and explore correlations with disease severity, duration and age at onset. Methods Retrospective, cross‐sectional, multicentric study enrolling patients with variants in one of the four sarcoglycan genes who underwent whole‐body ...

A New Perspective on the Average Mixing Matrix

open access: yes, 2017
We consider the continuous-time quantum walk defined on the adjacency matrix of a graph. At each instant, the walk defines a mixing matrix which is doubly-stochastic. The average of the mixing matrices contains relevant information about the quantum walk
