Partitioning the triangles of the cross polytope into surfaces
We present a constructive proof that there exists a decomposition of the 2-skeleton of the k-dimensional cross polytope $\beta^k$ into closed surfaces of genus $g \leq 1$, each with a transitive automorphism group given by the vertex transitive $\mathbb ...

Abstract Background The lived experience of Parkinson's disease (PD) includes motor and non‐motor symptoms. There is a need to capture the earliest patient experiences in a sensitive and reliable manner for the successful development of interventions that may delay clinical progression in PD.

Explicit description of twisted Wakimoto realizations of affine Lie algebras
In a vertex algebraic framework, we present an explicit description of the twisted Wakimoto realizations of the affine Lie algebras in correspondence with an arbitrary finite order automorphism and a compatible integral gradation of a complex simple Lie ...

ABSTRACT The Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG‐13) enunciates the need to combat climate change by encouraging necessary actions to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and this laudable goal was re‐echoed at COP‐28 in the UAE. Although negatively impacted by climate change, the vast literature is silent on the Central Africa (CA) region. Thus, we

Ramanujan-type formulae for $1/\pi$: $q$-analogues
The hypergeometric formulae designed by Ramanujan more than a century ago for efficient approximation of $\pi$, Archimedes' constant, remain an attractive object of arithmetic study.

Common sports‐related nerve injuries seen by the electrodiagnostic medical consultant
Abstract The high physiologic demands of sports create dynamic stress on joints, soft tissues, and nerves which may lead to injuries in the athlete. Electrodiagnostic (EDx) assessment is essential to identify the correct diagnosis, localization, and prognosis, to guide management of sports‐related neuropathies.

Chchd10: A Novel Metabolic Sensor Modulating Adipose Tissue Homeostasis
Chchd10 is a novel regulator of adipose tissue (AT) homeostasis upon excess energy intake. Rapid Chchd10 reduction in response to high‐fat diet induction promotes adipogenesis in subcutaneous AT to store excess energy. On the other hand, sustained Chchd10 reduction protects visceral AT from 4‐HNE‐induced adipocyte dysfunction, attenuating the ...

Probing the out‐of‐equilibrium dynamics of driven colloids by X‐ray photon correlation spectroscopy
This article presents an application of X‐ray photon correlation spectroscopy (XPCS) to probe the out‐of‐equilibrium dynamics in a driven colloidal system. XPCS enables the investigation of direction‐dependent non‐equilibrium dynamics and the gradual return of the suspension to equilibrium Brownian behaviour.
