Effect of sinusoidal modulated currents and acute hypoxia on corticosterone content and activity of certain dehydrogenases in tissues of different rat organs during hypokinesia [PDF]
The state of hypokinesia in rats was reproduced by keeping them for 30 days in special box cages that restricted their mobility in all directions. Results show the resistance to acute hypoxic hypoxia is increased.

Impact of Environmental Exposure on Infant Sleep : The Exposome Approach
This review explores how exposure to environmental pollutants during the first 1000 days of life may affect infant sleep. Evidence suggests potential links between chemical exposures and sleep disturbances, underscoring the need for more research on early‐life vulnerability and the impact of pollutants in air, diet, and breast milk.

Here we explore the effects of elevated water conductivity on larval eastern hellbenders (Cryptobranchus a. alleganiensis), both lethal and sublethal. We found that elevated water conductivity significantly impacts both survival and morphology, though it has limited effects on locomotor performance, stress physiology, and oxidative stress.

Exposure to artificial light at night (ALAN), particularly at blue wavelengths, disrupts circadian rhythms by suppressing melatonin, thereby increasing cancer susceptibility. This systematic review consolidates evidence linking prolonged ALAN exposure to an elevated risk of breast and prostate tumors.

Psychobiotics and the microbiota–gut–brain axis: Emerging paradigms in mental health modulation
Abstract The global rise in mental health conditions has prompted interest in interventions that act beyond conventional psychopharmacology. Psychobiotics, broadly understood as live microorganisms or microbe‐derived products that interact with the microbiota–gut–brain axis, have been suggested to exert neuroactive effects through neural, immune ...
