Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer are leading causes of death worldwide, with overlapping risk factors and pathophysiological mechanisms. This review explores shared pathways, including metabolic dysregulation, chronic inflammation, and gut microbiome alterations, highlighting dual‐benefit strategies such as lifestyle modifications and repurposed

TBC1D22B, a Golgi‐localized RabGAP linked to poor prognosis in breast cancer, inhibits ER‐to‐Golgi transport via RAB1B inactivation. This disrupts secretion, drives oncogenic transcriptional reprogramming, and promotes tumor growth. These findings indicate that TBC1D22B connects membrane trafficking to transcriptional control and cancer progression ...

βFaar selectively targets and inhibits the GTPase activity of the RAB18 protein, thereby reducing LD volume. Conversely, βFaar promotes nuclear translocation of the transcription factor IRF4 in inguinal white adipose tissue (iWAT), facilitating the browning of white adipose tissue and attenuating body fat accumulation.

Electrocardiographic Manifestations in three Psychiatric patients with Hypothermia – Case Report
Hypothermia occurs when the core body temperature falls below 35°C, which, in severe cases, can lead to electrocardiographic changes. Several conditions that occur in the psychiatric population increase the risk of hypothermia.

The microbiota‐derived metabolite phenylacetylglutamine (PAGln) is elevated in type 2 diabetes and tightly associated with poor healing in both diabetic and non‐diabetic human patients. PAGln promotes mouse inflammation and impairs healing through a transmissible β2‐adrenergic receptor–mediated trained‐immunity loop.
