Open AdS/CFT via a double-trace deformation

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
A concrete model of extracting the physics from the bulk of a gravitational universe is important to the study of quantum gravity and its possible relationship with experiments.

Wavy Wilson Line and AdS/CFT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Wilson loops which are small deviations from straight, infinite lines, called wavy lines, are considered in the context of the AdS/CFT correspondence. A single wavy line and the connected correlation function of a straight and wavy line are considered ...

“Be Open to All Those Ways That People Can Live Their Lives:” LGBTQ+ Client Recommendations for Adapting Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy

open access: yesJournal of Marital and Family Therapy, Volume 51, Issue 3, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Emotionally focused couple therapy (EFCT) is an empirically supported treatment for relationship distress. Yet, despite EFCT's substantial evidence base, to date, there have been no studies that have integrated LGBTQ+ clients' experiences and therapeutic needs into the EFCT process.

Integrability and the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2009
In this article we review the recently discovered asymptotic integrability in the planar N = 4 SYM theory and discuss its breakdown beyond the asymptotic region due to the wrapping interactions. We also discuss novel dynamical tests of the AdS/CFT correspondence one can perform in the special cases when the wrapping interactions may be neglected.

Note on anomalies in the AdS-CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1999
We test the AdS/CFT correspondence in the case of a d=4 N=2 SCFT by comparing chiral anomalies which are of order N in the 't Hooft large N limit. These include corrections of order 1/N to the conformal anomaly, thus testing the correspondence beyond the extreme large N limit.

Comments on a state-operator correspondence for the torus

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2018
We investigate the existence of a state-operator correspondence on the torus. This correspondence would relate states of the CFT Hilbert space living on a spatial torus to the path integral over compact Euclidean manifolds with operator insertions ...

Wilson lines construction of sl3 toroidal conformal blocks

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2023
We study W3 toroidal conformal blocks for degenerate primary fields in AdS/CFT context. In the large central charge limit W3 algebra reduces to sl3 algebra and sl3 blocks are defined as contributions to W3 blocks coming from the generators of sl3 ...

The Relationships Between Body‐Related Emotion Intolerance and Restrictive Eating as a Function of Multidimensional Perfectionism

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Psychology, Volume 81, Issue 5, Page 311-323, May 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective Emotion intolerance and perfectionism are two maintaining mechanisms to eating disorder symptomology. However, it is unclear how these mechanisms relate to one another. This study explored whether perfectionism is a vulnerability factor for facets of restrictive eating in the context of body‐related emotions.

Loop dynamics and AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2001
We consider the strong coupling limit of conformal gauge theories in 4 dimensions. The action of the loop operator on the minimal area in the AdS space is analyzed, and the Schwinger-Dyson equations of gauge theory are checked. The general approach to the loop dynamics developed here goes beyond the special case of conformal theories.
