GAUGE DEPENDENCE IN THE AdS/CFT CORRESPONDENCE [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 2000
We consider the AdS space formulation of the classical dynamics deriving from the Stückelberg Lagrangian. The on-shell action is shown to be free of infrared singularities as the vector boson mass tends to zero. In this limit the model becomes Maxwell theory formulated in an arbitrary covariant gauge.

Ads/CFT correspondence and symmetry breaking [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1999
We study, using the dual AdS description, the vacua of field theories where some of the gauge symmetry is broken by expectation values of scalar fields. In such vacua, operators built out of the scalar fields acquire expectation values, and we show how to calculate them from the behavior of perturbations to the AdS background near the boundary ...

Analog geometry in an expanding fluid from AdS/CFT perspective

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
The dynamics of an expanding hadron fluid at temperatures below the chiral transition is studied in the framework of AdS/CFT correspondence. We establish a correspondence between the asymptotic AdS geometry in the 4+1 dimensional bulk with the analog ...

Erratum to: Quantum tasks in holography

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
As one of the results in this article, I stated a connection between bulk causal structure and boundary entanglement in the AdS/CFT correspondence.

Holographic Duality with a View Toward Many-Body Physics

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2010
These are notes based on a series of lectures given at the KITP workshop Quantum Criticality and the AdS/CFT Correspondence in July, 2009. The goal of the lectures was to introduce condensed matter physicists to the AdS/CFT correspondence.

The extended ADS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Physics, 2005
The correspondence between conformal covariant fields in Minkowski's space-time and isometric fields in the five dimensional anti-deSitter space-time is extended to a six-dimensional bulk space and its regular sub-manifolds, so as to include the analysis of evaporating Schwarzschild's black holes without loss of quantum unitarity.

Quasinormal modes of a scalar perturbation around a rotating BTZ-like black hole in Einstein-bumblebee gravity

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2023
We analytically study the quasinormal modes of a scalar perturbation around a rotating BTZ-like black hole in the Einstein-bumblebee gravity. We observe that the Lorentz symmetry breaking parameter imprints only in the imaginary parts of the quasinormal ...

Information geometry encoded in bulk geometry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We study how information geometry is described by bulk geometry in the gauge/gravity correspondence. We consider a quantum information metric that measures the distance between the ground states of a CFT and a theory obtained by perturbing the CFT.
