Oscillation of Second-Order Noncanonical Advanced Type Neutral Differential Equations
This paper establishes new oscillation criteria for a specific class of second-order nonlinear noncanonical neutral differential equations that incorporate an advanced neutral argument. Rather than analyzing the equation in its initial noncanonical state,

Discontinuous functional differential equations with delayed or advanced arguments [PDF]
We provide new results on the existence of extremal solutions for discontinuous differential equations with a deviated argument which can be either delayed or advanced. The boundary condition is allowed to be discontinuous and to depend functionally on the unknown solution.

ABSTRACT Rates of cancer among adolescents and young adults (AYA), age 15–39 years, are increasing. Consequently, radiation oncologists are treating more AYAs who have diagnoses spanning both pediatric and adult practices. Compared to pediatric and older adult patients, AYAs face a unique set of challenges.

A Third Route to the Doomsday Argument [PDF]
In this paper, I present a solution to the Doomsday argument based on a third type of solution, by contrast to on the one hand, the Carter-Leslie view and on the other hand, the Eckhardt et al. analysis.

Oscillation Results for Difference Equations with Several Non-Monotone Advanced Arguments
We investigate the oscillatory behavior of a first-order linear difference equation with several advanced arguments. New sufficient conditions for oscillation are established, and we show, through carefully constructed counterexamples, that many well ...

Research Advances in Argument Mining
[Purpose/Significance] Argument mining, a research hotspot in the field of computational linguistics, provides machine processable structured data for computational models of argument. Argument mining tasks are closely related to artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, such as natural language processing and knowledge representation.

Advancing teacher knowledge of effective argumentation pedagogy [PDF]
This paper provides a discussion of the methodological approach to a research project that builds on previous studies of effective argumentation pedagogy undertaken by one of the authors. In this study, teachers from six schools in a city location are taking part in a one-year project to use new web-based professional development materials to advance ...

ABSTRACT Background Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT) is an essential therapy for several malignant and nonmalignant diseases, but relapse and graft loss remain the principal threats to its success. Routine monitoring of chimerism and minimal residual disease (MRD) enables early detection of imminent recurrence and guides ...

EXISTENCE OF SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH ADVANCED ARGUMENT
The aim of this work is to give sufficient conditions for existence of solutions of generalized Nicolleti problem for an integro-differential equation with advanced argument. The problem is considered in n- dimensional Euclidean space \(R^ n\). Under conditions of Carathéodory type, using a Schauder-Tikhonov fixed point result, a specified formulation ...
