Inter-discharge optimization for fast, reliable access to ASDEX Upgrade advanced tokamak scenario

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
Rapid inter-discharge simulation and optimization using the RAPTOR code have allowed the development of a reliable and reproducible early heating strategy for an advanced tokamak (AT) scenario on ASDEX Upgrade.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Development and application of a predictive model for advanced tokamak scenario design

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
Advanced tokamak (AT) scenarios applying additional heating during the current ramp (early-heating) usually require many iterations if developed fully empirically.

Validation of Antenna Modeling Methodology in IMT-Advanced Channel Model

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2012
In this paper, the antenna modeling method in the International Mobile Telecommunications-Advanced (IMT-Advanced) channel model is validated by field channel measurements in the indoor scenario at 2.35 GHz. First, the 2 × 2 MIMO channel impulse responses

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Cost-effectiveness analysis of pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy as first-line treatment for advanced biliary tract cancer: perspectives from US and Chinese payers

open access: yesBMJ Open
Background The KEYNOTE-966 study demonstrated that pembrolizumab combined with chemotherapy is more effective than chemotherapy alone as first-line treatment for patients with advanced biliary tract cancer (BTC).

Limited Feedback for 3D Massive MIMO under 3D-UMa and 3D-UMi Scenarios

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
For three-dimensional (3D) massive MIMO utilizing the uniform rectangular array (URA) in the base station (BS), we propose a limited feedback transmission scheme in which the channel state information (CSI) feedback operations for horizontal domain and ...

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic
