Identification of small molecule peptides with high affinity for RhE antigen based on phage display technology

open access: yesZhongguo shuxue zazhi
[Objective] To identify small molecule peptides specifically binding to RhE antigen via phage display technology, providing a theoretical basis to prevent RhE alloimmunization. [Methods] A peptide (FLWMFWPSVNSPLLRSPIQRKNA) with RhE antigen-specific amino

CD177 Deficiency Defines a Stable Subtype of Human Neutrophil Granulocytes with Tumor Promoting Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human neutrophils exist as two epigenetically imprinted subtypes defined by stable CD177 expression or absence — a ratio that persists across time, circadian rhythms, and inflammation. CD177− neutrophils display a distinct molecular landscape enriched in arginase 1 and lipid metabolism markers, accumulate in head‐and‐neck tumors, and associate with ...

Development and validation of a disulfidptosis-related genes signature for predicting outcomes and immunotherapy in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
BackgroundAcute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a hematopoietic malignancy with poor outcomes and high recurrence. Disulfidptosis, a novel form of programmed cell death driven by aberrant disulfide bonds and F-actin collapse, provides insights into cancer ...

The National Clinical Database Risk Calculator and the 5‐Item Modified Frailty Index Predict the Development of Postoperative Delirium After Surgery for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that combining the NCD Risk Calculator with the mFI‐5 enables more precise stratification of postoperative delirium risk in patients undergoing surgery for HCC. Patients classified as high risk by the combined model showed a markedly higher incidence of delirium than those in the intermediate‐ and low‐risk groups.

Perioperative uses of histamine antagonists

open access: yes, 1990
Histamine release and adverse pseudoallergic/allergic reactions during the perioperative period occur frequently. The incidence of such reactions is 20%-30% for all grades of severity, 1%-5% for systemic reactions, and 0.1%-0.5% for life-threatening ...
