Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Impact of Aerodynamic Interactions on Aeroelastic Stability of Wing-Propeller Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This paper presents initial findings from aeroelastic studies conducted on a wing-propeller model, aimed at evaluating the impact of aerodynamic interactions on wing flutter mechanisms and overall aeroelastic performance.

The influence of blade curvature and helical blade twist on the performance of a vertical-axis wind turbine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Accurate aerodynamic modeling of vertical-axis wind turbines poses a significant challenge, but is essential if the performance of such turbines is to be predicted reliably.

Lip Trill: Aerodynamic, Acoustic, and Laryngeal Interactions

open access: yesJournal of Voice
The lip trill (an oscillatory semioccluded vocal tract (SOVT) exercise) is commonly used by singers and speakers to improve voice production skills. The specific objective of this study was to investigate the relationships between aerodynamic and acoustic signals during lip trills. One trained female singer performed lip trill with and without voicing ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

The calculation of rotor/fuselage interaction for two-dimensional bodies [PDF]

open access: yes
Unsteady rotor wake interactions with the empennage, tail boom, and other aerodynamic surfaces have a significant influence on the aerodynamic performance of the helicopter, ride quality, and vibration.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Simulation of self-induced unsteady motion in the near wake of a Joukowski airfoil [PDF]

open access: yes
The unsteady Navier-Stokes analysis is shown to be capable of analyzing the massively separated, persistently unsteady flow in the post-stall regime of a Joukowski airfoil for an angle of attack as high as 53 degrees.
