Optimization of Temperature Measurement Method for High-Pressure Gas Flow Standard Facility Based on Sonic Nozzle Array

open access: yesAerospace
To improve the accuracy of the wind tunnel test, relying on the high-pressure gas source of the China Aerodynamic Research and Development Center, a secondary flow standard facility based on a sonic nozzle array was developed, with a pressure range of (1~

Research on intelligent diagnosis of deep-sea submersible bearing failures based on dual adaptive modeling [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Advances
The deep-sea environment is extremely complex, and rolling bearings in submersible propulsion systems are the core moving components. Facing complex conditions and multiple faults, traditional bearing fault diagnosis methods lack adaptability—failing to ...

Experimental Investigation of Airfoil Instability Tonal Noise Reduction Using Structured Porous Trailing Edges

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Reducing the tonal noise from airfoil instabilities has attracted significant interest from the aeronautical community in the past few years. The aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of structured porous trailing edges on the tonal noise ...

Estimation methods for aerodynamic noise generated from the bogie section of Shinkansen trains by using wind tunnel test

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2017
A method has been developed for predicting the aerodynamic noise from the bogie of a high-speed train using a two-dimensional microphone array in a low-noise wind tunnel.

Turbulent boundary layer noise : direct radiation at Mach number 0.5 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Boundary layers constitute a fundamental source of aerodynamic noise. A turbulent boundary layer over a plane wall can provide an indirect contribution to the noise by exciting the structure, and a direct noise contribution.

Crucial parameters for precise copy number variation detection in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded solid cancer samples

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...
