Pharmacogenomic profiling of the efficacy of gemcitabine monotherapy in metastatic pancreatic cancer: Subgroup analysis of the GENESECT study

Aim In the GENESECT study, no significant gemcitabine (GEM) metabolism‐related germline genetic polymorphisms (GPs) were identified because approximately 70% of patients received combination therapy with nab‐paclitaxel, which has metabolic pathways different from GEM.

Codeine toxicity via breast Milk: Can this occur and implications for opiate therapy in children

Codeine is commonly used in combination analgesic products. The use of codeine during breastfeeding can rarely be associated with serious adverse effects related to genetic polymorphisms affecting codeine's metabolism and disposition. Clinicians treating infants of breastfeeding mothers should be aware of this rare but potentially serious complication.

Pharmacokinetic interactions between Echinacea and two antiviral drugs, favipiravir and atazanavir, were assessed in rats. Prediction of Human Serum Concentration–Time Profiles of Golimumab and Ustekinumab Using Pharmacokinetic Data From Common Marmosets With Assessment of Anti‐Drug Antibodies

This study identified new optimal allometric scaling exponents for human PK prediction of monoclonal antibodies with linear PKs from marmoset PK data. In addition, immunogenicity in common marmosets was evaluated following the repeated dose of golimumab and ustekinumab, minimal anti‐drug antibodies were detected.
