Hybrid term structure models

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Математика, информатика, 2018
In this paper, we study the properties of so-called hybrid models in which the various components of a multi-dimensional vector describing the state of the market, are both affine and non-affine models. Such models allows to combine the strengths of both

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Affine Poisson and affine quasi-Poisson T-duality

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2019
We generalize the Poisson–Lie T-duality by making use of the structure of the affine Poisson group which is the concept introduced some time ago in Poisson geometry as a generalization of the Poisson–Lie group. We also introduce a new notion of an affine

Recurrence Relations and Hilbert Series of the Monoid Associated with Star Topology

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2020
Affine monoids are the considered as natural discrete analogues of the finitely generated cones. The interconnection between these two objects has been an active area of research since last decade.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

On the Structure and Affinities of Saccocirrus [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cell Science, 1901
ABSTRACT When studying the morphology of the excretory organs of the Polychæta, I thought it advisable to investigate those few cases of worms in which the true nephridia have been alleged to function as genital ducts. Of these Polychætes, Saccocirrus papillocercus, Bobr., is one of the most interesting ; and whilst occupying for a short

Sharp affine weighted L 2 Sobolev inequalities on the upper half space

open access: yesAdvanced Nonlinear Studies
We establish some sharp affine weighted L 2 Sobolev inequalities on the upper half space, which involves a divergent operator with degeneracy on the boundary.

Subordinated affine structure models for commodity future prices

open access: yesCogent Economics & Finance, 2018
To date the existence of jumps in different sectors of the financial market is certain and the commodity market is no exception. While there are various models in literature on how to capture these jumps, we restrict ourselves to using subordinated ...

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.
