A Simple Image Encryption Based on Binary Image Affine Transformation and Zigzag Process
In this paper, we propose a new and simple method for image encryption. It uses an external secret key of 128 bits long and an internal secret key. The novelties of the proposed encryption process are the methods used to extract an internal key to apply ...

Self-affine tiling via substitution dynamical systems and Rauzy fractals [PDF]
\textit{G. Rauzy} [Bull. Soc. Math. Fr. 110, 147--178 (1982; Zbl 0522.10032)] associated a fractal tiling of \(\mathbb R^d\) to a primitive unimodular Pisot substitution. Here, it is shown that the resulting fractal is the closure of its interior, and that a natural decomposition of the Rauzy fractal is a self-affine multitiling.

On Recovering Affine Encodings in White-Box Implementations
Ever since the first candidate white-box implementations by Chow et al. in 2002, producing a secure white-box implementation of AES has remained an enduring challenge.

Euler characteristics of affine ADE Nakajima quiver varieties via collapsing fibres [PDF]
We prove a universal substitution formula that compares generating series of Euler characteristics of Nakajima quiver varieties associated with affine ADE diagrams at generic and at certain non‐generic stability conditions via a study of collapsing ...

Connectedness of number theoretical tilings [PDF]
Let T=T(A,D) be a self-affine tile in \reals^n defined by an integral expanding matrix A and a digit set D. In connection with canonical number systems, we study connectedness of T when D corresponds to the set of consecutive integers \0,1,..., |det(A ...

Dynamic S-Box Design Using a Novel Square Polynomial Transformation and Permutation
New era ciphers employ substitution boxes (S-boxes) which assist in the provision of security for the plaintext in the encryption phase and transforming the ciphertext on the receiver side into original plaintext in the decryption phase.

Maximal equicontinuous factors and cohomology for tiling spaces [PDF]
We study the homomorphism induced on cohomology by the maximal equicontinuous factor map of a tiling space. We will see that this map is injective in degree one and has torsion free cokernel.
