Conventional Substitution-boxes (S-boxes) used in symmetric-key cryptography are typically static or generated through deterministic pseudo-random processes, making them vulnerable to long-term structural analysis, precomputation, and learning-based ...

Self-affine tiling via substitution dynamical systems and Rauzy fractals
In this paper we show that a class of sets known as the Rauzy fractals, which are constructed via substitution dynamical systems, give rise to self-affine multi-tiles and self-affine tilings.

On Recovering Affine Encodings in White-Box Implementations [PDF]
Ever since the first candidate white-box implementations by Chow et al. in 2002, producing a secure white-box implementation of AES has remained an enduring challenge.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Topics in computational group theory : primitive permutation groups and matrix group normalisers
Part I of this thesis presents methods for finding the primitive permutation groups of degree d, where 2500 ≤ d < 4096, using the O'Nan-Scott Theorem and Aschbacher's theorem. Tables of the groups G are given for each O'Nan-Scott class.

Decidability Problems for Self-induced Systems Generated by a Substitution [PDF]
International audienceIn this talk we will survey several decidability and undecidability results on topological properties of self-affine or self-similar fractal tiles. Such tiles are obtained as fixed point of set equations governed by a graph.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Dundee Discussion Papers in Economics 154:Labour demand in Germany: an assessment on non-wage labour [PDF]
The data indicate that non-wage labour costs in Germany have reached a record high in recent years. From 1972 to 2001, the ratio of non-wage labour costs to direct compensation in West German manufacturing industry rose from 55.6% to 81.2%.
