Aggregation‐induced emission luminogens for augmented photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is promising in sequestrating carbon dioxide and providing food and biofuel. Recent findings have shown that luminescent materials could shift the wavelength of light to a more usable range for augmented photosynthesis.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Aggregation‐induced emission materials for nonlinear optics
Aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) is a vital photophysical phenomenon that the luminogens in the concentrated or aggregated cases will engender the dramatically boosted emission in comparison with the dispersive states. Given this extraordinary emitting

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

A robust aggregation-induced emission luminogen photocatalyst, 5,6-bis(4′-(diphenylamino)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl)pyrazine-2,3-dicarbonitrile (DCDPP-2TPA), for photoinduced electron transfer-reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (PET-RAFT ...

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Aggregation‐Induced Emission Luminogens for Gas Sensors
Luminescent chromophores armed with aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) characteristics can switch their fluorescence sensing by manipulating the aggregation and disaggregation states, leading to high sensitivity and high signal‐to‐noise ratio sensors ...

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Aggregation-Induced Emission of Nitrogen-Bridged Naphthalene Monoimide Dimers
We have prepared four 4-aminonaphthalene monoimide derivatives and examined the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties. A nitrogen-bridged dimer is AIE-active and exhibits bright green emission with a high quantum yield in the solid state.
