Weak uninorm aggregation operators

Information Sciences, 2000
By weakening the identity condition for uninorms, a general class of associative aggregation operators, called weak uninorms, is introduced. It is proved that a continuous weak uninorm is a combination of a continuous t-norm and a continuous t-conorm through a median operator.

Aggregate operators in probabilistic databases

Journal of the ACM, 2005
Though extensions to the relational data model have been proposed in order to handle probabilistic information, there has been very little work to date on handling aggregate operators in such databases. In this article, we present a very general notion of an aggregate operator and show how classical aggregation operators (such as COUNT, SUM, etc.) as ...

On Results of Data Aggregation Operations

2020
Be it in services or as part of software features, the adoption of machine learning techniques brings new challenges to access control systems. Considering an operation that uses as operands multiple datasets of fragmented ownership or terms, its result may reveal protected information, although each of the datasets was legitimately accessed.

Aggregation of Information and Aggregation Operators

2013
Huge amount of information one meets nowadays in a lot of areas of human activity makes information aggregation an extremely important and challenging issue. This chapter presents aggregation operators, a formal tool for aggregation of numerical information. Main types and properties of those operators will be discussed.

Gagg: A Graph Aggregation Operator

2015
Graph aggregation is an important operation when studying graphs and has been applied in many fields. The heterogeneity, fine-granularity and semantic richness of RDF graphs introduce unique requirements when aggregating the data. In this work, we propose Gagg, an RDF graph aggregation operator that is both expressive and flexible.
