Extensions of Dombi Aggregation Operators for Decision Making under m-Polar Fuzzy Information

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2020
An m-polar fuzzy set is a powerful mathematical model to analyze multipolar, multiattribute, and multi-index data. The m-polar fuzzy sets have appeared as a useful tool to portray uncertainty in multiattribute decision making. The purpose of this article

An Approach to Multi-Attribute Decision-Making for Olive Trees Plantation Site Selection Using Spherical Fuzzy Neutrality Aggregation Operators

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
We introduce the concept of spherical fuzzy neutral aggregation operators by utilizing neutral addition and scalar multiplication operational laws. Spherical fuzzy set (SFS) is an effective tool for handling cognitive uncertainty in decision-making (DMg),

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Fuzzy weighted average as a fuzzified aggregation operator and its properties [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
summary:The weighted average is a well-known aggregation operator that is widely applied in various mathematical models. It possesses some important properties defined for aggregation operators, like monotonicity, continuity, idempotency, etc., that play

Harmonic Aggregation Operator with Trapezoidal Picture Fuzzy Numbers and Its Application in a Multiple-Attribute Decision-Making Problem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Picture fuzzy sets (PFSs) can be used to handle real-life problems with uncertainty and vagueness more effectively than intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs).

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

A discussion on aggregation operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
summary:It has been lately made very clear that aggregation processes can not be based upon a unique binary operator. Global aggregation operators have been therefore introduced as families of aggregation operators $\lbrace T_n\rbrace _n$, being each one

Multi-criteria group decision making based on Archimedean power partitioned Muirhead mean operators of q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
Two critical tasks in multi-criteria group decision making (MCGDM) are to describe criterion values and to aggregate the described information to generate a ranking of alternatives.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.
