Models for cohesive sediments describing the evolution of the characteristics of particles [PDF]
The goal of this paper is to set up a framework designed to take into account the characteristics of sediment particles when transported by water. Our protocol consists in describing the characteristics of sediment particles via an additional variable ...

Explicit Equilibrium Solutions For the Aggregation Equation with Power-Law Potentials [PDF]
Despite their wide presence in various models in the study of collective behaviors, explicit swarming patterns are difficult to obtain. In this paper, special stationary solutions of the aggregation equation with power-law kernels are constructed by ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Multi-Valued Interval Neutrosophic Soft Sets and Their Aggregation Operators [PDF]
Recent studies have increasingly focused on aggregation within the neutrosophic environment due to its capability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty. However, to the authors' information, no current study has investigated aggregation operators for multi-

Asymptotically idempotent aggregation operators for trust management in multi-agent systems [PDF]
The study of trust management in multi-agent system, especially distributed, has grown over the last years. Trust is a complex subject that has no general consensus in literature, but has emerged the importance of reasoning about it computationally.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

A dialectical approach for argument-based judgment aggregation [PDF]
The current paper provides a dialectical interpretation of the argumentation-based judgment aggregation operators of Caminada and Pigozzi. In particular, we define discussion-based proof procedures for the foundational concepts of down-admissible and up ...

It was in 1990, when I was still studying my degree in Computer Science, when I met Prof. Lotfi Zadeh for the first time, if I do not remember wrongly. It was in a conference I was participating in Barcelona where he gave one of the plenary talks. I remember clearly that he mentioned fuzzy systems and the successful Japanese applications of the late ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Generalized Cubic Aggregation Operators with Application in Decision Making Problem
There are many aggregation operators and their applications have been developed up to date, but in this paper we introduced the idea of generalized aggregation operator.
