Measuring and improving information systems agility through the balanced scorecard approach [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Science Issues (IJCSI), 2015, vol. 12, no 5, p. 58, 2021
Facing an environment increasingly complex, uncertain and changing, even in crisis, organizations are driven to be agile in order to survive. Agility, at the core heart of business strategy, represents the ability to grow in a competitive environment of continuous and unpredictable changes with information systems perceived as one of its main enablers.

Beyond Global Mechanical Properties: Bioinspired Triply‐Periodic Minimal Surface Cellular Solids for Efficient Mechanical Design and Optimization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Using novel probe‐based metrics, this study evaluates lattice structures on criteria critical to cellular solid optimization. Triply‐periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices outperform other lattices, offering more predictable mechanical behavior in complex design spaces and, as a result, higher performance in optimized models.

Strengthening the ICUs' human resource‐related responses to Covid‐19: A rapid review of the experience during the first year of public health emergency

open access: yesThe International Journal of Health Planning and Management, Volume 38, Issue 1, Page 22-39, January 2023., 2023
Abstract By drawing on macro‐categories of key human resource (HR) management interventions recommended by the Organization for Economic Co‐operation and Development (OECD) during the Covid‐19 pandemic, this study aimed to explore whether and how Intensive Care Units (ICU) have strengthened their HRs during the first year of Covid‐19 emergency. A rapid

High‐Speed and Scalable Wet Spinning of Graphene/Liquid Crystalline Elastomer Composite Filaments

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polydomain filaments from graphene/liquid crystalline elastomer (LCE) composites are scalably‐manufactured by wet spinning across a wide range of diameters (≈137–1128 µm) at a speed up to 4500 m h−1 through a double diffusion coagulation mechanism, enabling fast actuation and optimized mechanical performance for broad applications.

Toward a non‐organizational theory of human resource management? A complex adaptive systems perspective on the human resource management ecosystem in (con)temporary organizing

open access: yesHuman Resource Management, Volume 62, Issue 1, Page 31-53, January/February 2023., 2023
Abstract The emergence of the temporary organization has ushered in a new logic of organizing accompanied by paradigm‐shifting challenges with respect to how the evolving nature of work, workers, and collective effort are to be understood. To capture the complexity inherent in this new order, and to broaden our focus from the organization to the ...

Attitudes, Beliefs, and Development Data Concerning Agile Software Development Practices [PDF]

open access: yes2019 IEEE/ACM 41st International Conference on Software Engineering: Software Engineering Education and Training (ICSE-SEET), Montreal, QC, Canada, 2019, pp. 158-169, 2019
The perceptions and attitudes of developers impact how software projects are run and which development practices are employed in development teams. Recent agile methodologies have taken this into account, focusing on collaboration and shared team culture. In this research, we investigate the perceptions of agile development practices and their usage in
