Parent Perceptions of Infant Symptoms at End-of-Life in the NICU [PDF]
Purpose and Significance: Despite significant technological advances, many infants admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) do not survive. Limited research has focused on symptoms infants may experience as they approach end-of-life.

Modal Noise Mitigation through Fiber Agitation for Fiber-fed Radial Velocity Spectrographs
Optical fiber modal noise is a limiting factor for high precision spectroscopy signal-to-noise in the near-infrared and visible. Unabated, especially when using highly coherent light sources for wavelength calibration, modal noise can induce radial ...

Sustainable Catalyst‐Free PLG Networks: Recyclability, Biodegradability, and Functional Performance
A catalyst‐additive free covalent adaptable network is developed from star‐shaped poly(lactide‐co‐glycolide) cross‐linked with pyromellitic dianhydride, enabling internal carboxylic acid‐driven transesterification. The resulting biodegradable network exhibits mechanical robustness (Young's modulus ≈1.6 GPa), complete recyclability, rapid biodegradation

xxxx. ABSTRACT Glioblastoma (GBM) remains one of the most lethal brain cancers, with median survival rarely exceeding 15 months after diagnosis. Interleukin‐12 (IL‐12) is a potent immunostimulatory cytokine capable of reshaping the tumor microenvironment (TME), yet its clinical translation is hindered by systemic toxicity and short half‐life. RNA‐based

Study of high performance alloy electroforming [PDF]
Using the two nickel-manganese alloy electroforming baths of near identical compositions, panels were electroformed under the same deposition parameters of current density, bath temperature, pH, and pulse plating conditions of duty cycle and frequency ...

4D‐Printed Magneto‐Plasmonic Microrobots for Programmable Spatiotemporal De‐Icing
A 4D‐printing strategy is introduced to achieve programmable de‐icing devices. By aligning gold–magnetite nanofillers within a photosensitive resin, the printed structures exhibit dual magnetic and plasmonic functionalities, enabling precise spatio‐temporal ice removal through thermoplasmonic effects.

An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.

Production of polystyrene spheres for use as a templating material for polyaniline monolith structures. [PDF]
Polystyrene (PS) spheres are potentially useful as a reproducible, sacrificial templating material for monolith columns once they can be utilised to create a uniform microstructured packing which enables a higher monolith batch to batch reproducibility ...
