Developing variable rate application technology: Scenario development and agronomic evaluation [PDF]
Abstract Six fertiliser application scenarios were considered on a hill‐country case study farm. The scenarios were developed for input into a decision tree model and were compared to a base line scenario that uses the farm's current blanket application techniques.

Haplotype‐Resolved 3D Genomic Landscapes and Their Impacts on Agronomic Traits in Grapevine
This study presents a haplotype‐resolved 3D genomic landscape of grapevine, revealing that structural variations (SVs) are closely associated with phased topologically associating domain (TAD) boundary transitions. These rearrangements coordinate with allele‐specific DNA methylation (ASM) and allele‐biased gene expression (ASE) to shape key agronomic ...

The BnTFL1‐BnJAM3‐BnSWEETs Module Orchestrates Seed Storage Reserve Accumulation in Brassica napus
BnaC03.TFL1 and BnaA01.JAM3 form a complex that facilitates the transport of soluble sugars from the seed coat to the embryo by directly activating the expression of BnSWEETs. Furthermore, BnaC03.TFL1 and BnaA01.JAM3 work cooperatively to promote soluble sugar and oil production while suppressing protein deposition.

TaMYB7‐A1 directly activates TaABI5 to enhance ABA signaling and regulate ABA‐GA homeostasis, enforcing seed dormancy. Its superior allele, derived from wild einkorn introgression, harbors a MITE insertion that elevates expression and two amino acid substitutions that enhance transcriptional activity, collectively generating graded PHS resistance for ...

Diallel analysis and inbreeding depression in agronomic and technological traits of cotton genotypes [PDF]
ABSTRACT Cotton provides about 90% of the world textile fiber, and is one of the crops of greater industrial relevance. The objectives of this study were to estimate the inbreeding depressionand the genetic effects involved in the control of the agronomic andfiber quality traits in F1 and F2 generations and to identify promising hybrids for obtaining ...
