Obstetric Anaesthetists' Association and Difficult Airway Society guidelines for the management of difficult and failed tracheal intubation in obstetrics*

open access: yesAnaesthesia, 2015
The Obstetric Anaesthetists' Association and Difficult Airway Society have developed the first national obstetric guidelines for the safe management of difficult and failed tracheal intubation during general anaesthesia. They comprise four algorithms and

Integrated Transcriptome and Metabolomics Analyses Show MYC as a Potential Therapeutic Target for Behçet's Uveitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated single‐cell transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses reveal that MYC‐driven glycolysis activates the PI3K‐AKT‐FOXO1 pathway, disrupting Th17/Treg balance and promoting uveitis. MYC inhibition restores immune homeostasis and alleviates disease symptoms.

Coactosin‐Like Protein Reduces Prostaglandin D2 Production in Alveolar Macrophages and Alleviates Allergic Airway Inflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Coactosin‐like protein inhibits prostaglandin D₂ (PGD2) secretion by modulating alveolar macrophage polarization, thereby suppressing activation of the PGD2 receptor CRTH2 in Th2‐associated immune cells and alleviating allergic airway inflammation.

The Contribution of Small Airway Obstruction to the Pathogenesis of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

open access: yesPhysiological Reviews, 2017
The hypothesis that the small conducting airways were the major site of obstruction to airflow in normal lungs was introduced by Rohrer in 1915 and prevailed until Weibel introduced a quantitative method of studying lung anatomy in 1963.

Post‐Translational Modified Neoantigens in Autoimmune Diseases: Challenges of Immune Tolerance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Autoimmune diseases have a high incidence and disability rate. The pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases involves the interaction among genetic factors, environmental factors, and immune disorders. The post‐translational modified neoantigens are the key nodal of these three factors. And these post‐translational modified neoantigens, after being presented

NF-kappaB Signaling in Chronic Inflammatory Airway Disease

open access: yesBiomolecules, 2015
Asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are obstructive airway disorders which differ in their underlying causes and phenotypes but overlap in patterns of pharmacological treatments.

FLASH Irradiation Modulates Immune Responses and Accelerates Lung Recovery: A Single‐Cell Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell RNA sequencing reveals distinct immune responses to FLASH versus conventional dose rate irradiation in early radiation‐induced lung injury. FLASH irradiation reduces Ccrl2⁺ neutrophil infiltration, activates CD4⁺ CD40L⁺ Th cells, restrains pro‐inflammatory Mefv⁺ monocytes, and enhances epithelial repair via TGF‐β signaling, underscoring its
