Macrophage TNF-α mediates parathion-induced airway hyperreactivity in guinea pigs. [PDF]
Organophosphorus pesticides (OPs) are implicated in human asthma. We previously demonstrated that, at concentrations that do not inhibit acetylcholinesterase activity, the OP parathion causes airway hyperreactivity in guinea pigs as a result of ...

Cer24:1 levels are reduced in neutrophilic asthma and inversely correlate with disease severity and airway neutrophilia. Restoring Cer24:1 suppresses pathogenic Th17 differentiation by engaging EP2 on CD4+ T cells, thereby dampening the JAK2–STAT3–RORγt axis and reducing IL‐17 production.

Geriatric asthmatics exhibit more comorbidities, poorer lung function, higher neutrophil ratios, and elevated CRP levels. ABSTRACT Objective The research analyzed the clinical characteristics of geriatric and nongeriatric asthma cases, aiming to provide new insights into the diagnosis and management of geriatric asthma for clinicians.

Protective effect of a Protein Epitope Mimetic CCR10 antagonist, POL7085, in a model of allergic eosinophilic airway inflammation [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Potential involvement of the CCR10/CCL28 axis was recently reported in murine models of allergic asthma. If confirmed, blockade of the CCR10 receptor would represent an alternative to current asthma therapies.
