Analysis of AISI D2 Steel by using SEM Images
Hard turning is a new emerging technique in manufacturing industry which involves turning of hard steel having hardness more than 60 HRC. Here in the present work, the objective of the study is steel type ENX160CrMo having hardness 62 HRC. Hard turning were carried out at different cutting parameters and chip hardness and micro- chip SEM images were ...

EuPdSn2: magnetic structures in view of resonant X‐ray Bragg diffraction
Structure factors informed by magnetic symmetry for resonant X‐ray diffraction by EuPdSn2 using Eu atomic resonances E1–E1 and E1–E2. Axial and polar (Dirac) electronic Eu multipoles are compulsory. The magnetic properties of materials hosting Eu2+ (J = 7/2, 4f7) ions have attracted much attention in the science of strongly correlated electrons. In part

An Atomic‐Scale View at γ’‐Fe4N as Hydrogen Barrier Material
This study demonstrates the efficacy of γ’‐Fe4N nitride layers, formed via gas nitriding, as hydrogen permeation barriers. Advanced characterization, hydrogen permeation analysis, and DFT calculations reveal a 20 fold reduction in hydrogen diffusion at room temperature.

Effect of Post-Heat Treatment on the AISI M4 Layer Deposited by Directed Energy Deposition
Currently, high-speed steel (HSS) powders are deposited locally on a metal surface through direct energy deposition (DED) onto hardface tool steel. Although the HSS powder enhances the hardness and the abrasion resistance of a metal surface, it makes the
