Isocitrate Dehydrogenase Mutations in Cancer: From Bench to Bedside Applications

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
Mutant isocitrate dehydrogenase affects multiple cancer types. Alterations in IDH1 and IDH2 result in abnormal enzyme activity, leading to the overproduction of D‐2‐hydroxyglutarate (D‐2HG). This metabolite disrupts cellular metabolism and epigenetic regulation, driving cancer initiation, progression, and metastasis.

Sustained Belinostat‐Induced Metabolic Response and Tolerability in Heavily Pretreated Relapsed/Refractory Angioimmunoblastic T‐Cell Lymphoma: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Angioimmunoblastic T‐cell lymphoma (AITL), a rare and aggressive subtype of peripheral T‐cell lymphoma (PTCL), often demonstrates resistance to standard therapies. The optimal therapeutic approach for relapsed/refractory (R/R) AITL remains therefore uncertain and challenging, with an unmet need for effective treatment options.

Erdheim‐Chester disease associated with myeloid neoplasm: Clinical features, molecular landscape, and treatment outcomes

open access: yesHemaSphere, Volume 10, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Erdheim‐Chester disease (ECD) is frequently associated with clonal hematopoiesis and myeloid neoplasms (MN), but clinical phenotype and response to kinase inhibitors (KI) in this setting remain unclear. We analyzed 67 patients with ECD associated with MN (ECD‐MN) from a French national cohort and assessed ECD treatment response, MN progression,

Secondary cutaneous Epstein-Barr virus-associated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in a patient with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma: a case report and review of literature

open access: yesDiagnostic Pathology, 2012
Only a few cases of extranodal Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-associated B-cell lymphomas arising from patients with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) have been described.

Advancing the Diagnosis of Non‐Hodgkin Lymphoma Through Next‐Generation Sequencing in Developing Countries: An Evaluation of Progress—A Narrative Review

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Non‐Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is the most prevalent hematological malignancy worldwide and accounts for approximately 3% of all cancer cases and fatalities. Next‐generation sequencing (NGS) has advanced molecular diagnosis and targeted treatment in developed countries.

Clinicopathological implications of immunohistochemical expression of TBX21, CXCR3, GATA3, CCR4, and TCF1 in nodal follicular helper T-cell lymphoma and peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Pathology and Translational Medicine
Background The classification of nodal peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) has evolved according to histology, cell-of-origin, and genetic alterations. However, the comprehensive expression pattern of follicular helper T-cell (Tfh) markers, T-cell factor-1

A Murine Database of Structural Variants Identifies A Candidate Gene for a Spontaneous Murine Lymphoma Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 17, 23 March 2026.
We analyzed long‐read genomic sequencing data obtained from 40 inbred mouse strains to produce a large database of structural variants. This dataset captures the major types of structural variants, which includes deletions, insertions, duplications, and inversions.

Dupilumab and Systemic Hematologic Malignancies: Case Series and Literature Review

open access: yesJEADV Clinical Practice, Volume 5, Issue 1, Page 171-175, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease affecting 15%–20% of children and 3%–10% of adults. An increased risk of systemic lymphomas – but not leukemias – has been reported in patients with AD. Dupilumab, a monoclonal IgG4 antibody targeting IL‐4 and IL‐13 signaling, is approved for moderate‐to‐severe AD and is ...

Development of a Novel Clinical Prognostic Model for Patients With Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesTechnology in Cancer Research & Treatment, 2020
In this study we aimed to identify a set of prognostic factors for angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) and establish a novel prognostic model. The clinical data of 64 AITL patients enrolled to the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University (from ...

Epstein‐Barr Virus Infection at Single‐Cell Resolution

open access: yesJournal of Medical Virology, Volume 98, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Epstein‐Barr virus (EBV) infection has been studied at single‐cell resolution for six decades and counting. Such investigations can reveal virus‐host interactions and their dependence on viral strain, cellular niche, infection program, immune response regulation, and time.
