Journal of Applied Electrochemistry, 1980β-Al2O3 formation fromm-Al2O3 was found by a new convenient technique. By thermal decomposition of a complex compound, trioxalatoaluminate Na x (NH4)3−x [Al(C2O4)3]yH2O(0.091 ⩽x ⩽ 0.333;y= 3), a very fine powder ofm-Al2O3 was formed.

Thin Solid Films, 1999Abstract Interfacial reactions were studied at three different heat-treated oxide/metal bilayers (oxide: amorphous a-Al 2 O 3 and metal: crystalline c-Ti, Ti 3 Al or TiAl) by means of AES depth profiling. The different oxide/metal bilayers were sputter deposited on smooth silicon substrates, covered with a TiN thin-film diffusion barrier.

Applied Catalysis, 1984Abstract The competitive effect of HCl on H2PtCl6 and/or HReO4 deposition on γ-Al2O3 was studied. For this purpose HCl, H2PtCl6, and HReO4 adsorption isotherms were determined, and the radial distribution profiles of the three components were obtained by impregnating cylindrical tablets.
