Isomerization of an enzyme-coenzyme complex in yeast alcohol dehydrogenase-catalyzed reactions [PDF]
In this work, all the rate constants in the kinetic mechanism of the yeast alcohol dehydrogenase-catalyzed oxidation of ethanol by NAD+, at pH 7.0, 25°C, have been estimated.

FOXM1 maintains mitochondrial bioenergetic function by inhibiting MKRN1‐mediated ubiquitination of LKB1 in cardiomyocytes. Loss of FOXM1 in cardiomyocytes results in upregulation of MKRN1, which enhances LKB1 ubiquitination and disrupts AMPK signaling and energy metabolism pathways. Conversely, FOXM1 overexpression preserves mitochondrial bioenergetics

RecET recombination system driving chromosomal target gene replacement in Zymomonas mobilis
Background: Zymomonas mobilis is a Gram-negative microaerophilic bacterium with excellent ethanol-producing capabilities. The RecET recombination system provides an efficient tool for direct targeting of genes in the bacterial chromosome by PCR fragments.

Association Between Moraxella catarrhalis and Nodular Lymphocyte‐Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma
ABSTRACT Nodular lymphocyte‐predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma (NLPHL) may be an antigen‐driven malignancy. Recent studies demonstrated that in NLPHL patients, lymphoma B‐cell receptor can bind proteins derived from Moraxella catarrhalis (MC) and Rothia mucilaginosa (RM). We examined whether MC and RM can be detected in NLPHL lymph nodes.

The aim of this study was to improve the long‐term LL‐37 mouse model and compare the disease manifestations and pathophysiology of short‐term and long‐term LL‐37‐induced rosacea‐like models. The results show that the long‐term LL‐37 induced mouse model provides a practical animal model for further study of the pathological mechanism of severe rosacea ...
