Using photovoice to understand community perceptions of firearm risks and protective factors among Asian Americans

Abstract This study used photovoice methodology to explore Asian Americans' perspectives on the root causes and protective factors of firearm violence in their communities. Photovoice provided a participatory platform for community members to document lived experiences and identify priorities for change.

Remote Desaturation of Unprotected Amines and C─H Amination of Alkanes by Polarity‐Matched N‐Radical Cations

Highly electrophilic N‐radical cations enable efficient and selective H‐atom transfer (HAT) of unprotected amines. In this exceedingly practical strategy, simple CuCl catalyzes an interrupted Hofmann–Löffler–Freytag (HLF) reaction to afford δ desaturated amines, aza‐heterocycles, and C─H aminated alkanes without protecting groups.

Negotiating contested spaces and places: Narratives of social suffering and resistance in racialized Cape Town communities

Abstract This study employs a schizocartographic approach to explore community narratives of space, memory, and violence in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. Through participants' accounts, ordinary places—gardens, shops, blocks, sports grounds, and streets—emerge as ambivalent geographies where trauma, resilience, and belonging intersect.

Underexplored Catalysts as General Structures: Application of Machine Learning Techniques for Reaction‐Specific Datasets

Bias‐aware machine learning identified an underexplored imidazolidinone catalyst with broad competitive performance in iminium‐based reactions. Experimental benchmarking shows how data‐driven prioritization can uncover overlooked catalyst scaffolds from sparse and historically biased literature data.
