College Readiness -- A Simple Description
To survive academically the first year of college, students basically need the three Rs, Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic, albeit all on high school levels. No Statistics needed.Reading means reading with understanding the expository and descriptive text

Two important generalizations of the Hopf algebra of symmetric functions are the Hopf algebra of noncommutative symmetric functions and its graded dual the Hopf algebra of quasisymmetric functions. A common generalization of the latter is the selfdual Hopf algebra of permutations (MPR Hopf algebra).

A model for blend electrodes is developed, parameterized, and validated using experimental data from a SiOx/Gr electrode. The model provides information about local states, such as the degree of lithiation or material‐specific C‐rates, distinguishing between the two active materials.

Nijenhuis deformations of Poisson algebras and $F$-manifold algebras [PDF]
The notion of pre-Poisson algebras was introduced by Aguiar in his study of zinbiel algebras and pre-Lie algebras. In this paper, we first introduce NS-Poisson algebras as a generalization of both Poisson algebras and pre-Poisson algebras. An NS-Poisson algebra has an associated sub-adjacent Poisson algebra.

Abstract In the classroom, metabolism is often approached and received as a mundane exercise in memorization. Teaching metabolism also faces the challenge of negative perceptions that can impede learning. We sought to improve the learning experience in an undergraduate lecture course on microbial metabolism by implementing an illustrated story that ...

To handle nonlinearity and feature coupling, a data‐driven aging model is proposed, employing dual Gaussian Process Regressions and transfer learning to enhance model efficiency and accuracy. Adaptive filtering refines the model by integrating aging features and output capacity, resulting in a closed‐loop data fusion framework for SOH estimation ...
