Sixth-grade students’ pattern generalization approaches [PDF]
This study investigates sixth-grade Turkish students’ pattern-generalization approaches among arithmetical generalization, algebraic generalization, and naïve induction. A qualitative case study design was employed. The data was collected from four sixth-

Braided Weyl algebras and differential calculus on U(u(2)) [PDF]
On any Reflection Equation algebra corresponding to a skew-invertible Hecke symmetry (i.e. a special type solution of the Quantum Yang-Baxter Equation) we define analogs of the partial derivatives.

The constructive methods of teaching mathematics
The problem of teaching mathematics in Lithuanian schools envisaged in this article. The teachers often use the teaching methods of behaviourism. The widely used teachingmethods of constructivionism in the world are appearing in Lithuanian schools too ...

Analytic solution for tachyon condensation in open string field theory
We propose a new basis in Witten's open string field theory, in which the star product simplifies considerably. For a convenient choice of gauge the classical string field equation of motion yields straightforwardly an exact analytic solution that ...

Generically algebraic algebras [PDF]
The notions of generic minimum polynomial and generic norm for finitedimensional strictly power-associative algebras were introduced by Professor N. Jacobson in [2], [3], generalizing the notions of principal polynomial and norm for associative algebras.

Moduli space actions on the Hochschild Co-Chains of a Frobenius algebra I: Cell Operads
This is the first of two papers in which we prove that a cell model of the moduli space of curves with marked points and tangent vectors at the marked points acts on the Hochschild co--chains of a Frobenius algebra. We also prove that a there is dg--PROP

Algebraic isomorphisms of limit algebras [PDF]
We prove that algebraic isomorphisms between limit algebras are automatically continuous, and consider the consequences of this result. In particular, we give partial solutions to a conjecture and an open problem by Power. As a further consequence, we describe epimorphisms between various classes of limit algebras.

The study presented in this paper evaluated gene expression profiles from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). To reduce complexity, we focused on genes in the cGAS–STING pathway, crucial for cytosolic DNA detection and immune response.

On Gradual Sets, Hesitant Fuzzy Sets, and Representation Theorems
We analyze the connection between two perspectives when defining fuzzy sets: the viewpoint of mappings and the viewpoint of families of level cuts. This analysis is mathematically supported by the framework of a categorical adjunction, which serves as a ...
