Observation of Topological Chirality Switching Induced Freezing of a Skyrmion Crystal

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Using Lorentz Transmission electron microscopy, it is shown that in the insulating van der Waals ferromagnet, CrBr3, a magnetic field can cause Bloch skyrmionic bubbles to spontaneously switch their chirality. As achiral type‐II bubbles are an intermediate state, the bubbles rapidly elongate and shrink when switching, thereby inducing a freezing of the

Matematiğin ve Varlığın Sınırlarına Hârizmî Cebri Üzerinden Yeniden Bakmak

open access: yesÜniversite Araştırmaları Dergisi, 2023
Ontolojik nesnenin belirlenişinde matematiğin etkisi bugün adeta kayıp bir gönderge gibidir. Oysa tarihlerinin başlangıcında bu ilişki açıkça görünür biçimdeydi. Matematiğin ve bilimlerin 17. yy.

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.

Capillary Dynamics Analysis of Millimetric Tubes for Anti‐Slip Surfaces: A Phase‐Field Based Finite Element Approach and Experimental Validation

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
Phase‐field method based numerical modelling of the capillary rise in millimeter‐sized tubes, aiming for anti‐slip applications. The experimental validation was performed through capillary assays in polyethylene oxide (PEO) bulk modified polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) channels.

Methodology for Automating and Orchestrating Performance Evaluation of Kubernetes Container Network Interfaces

open access: yesComputers
Maintaining a fast, low-latency network must be balanced in the demanding world of High-Performance Computing (HPC). Any compromise in network performance can severely affect distributed HPC applications, leading to bottlenecks that undermine the entire ...

Genome‐Wide by Lifetime Environment Interaction Studies of Brain Imaging Phenotypes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study explores genome‐wide by lifetime environment interactions on brain imaging phenotypes. Gene‐environment interactions explain more phenotypic variance than main effects, pinpoint regulatory variants, and reveal exposure‐specific biological pathways.

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics
