-Orthomorphisms and -Linear Operators on the Order Dual of an -Algebra Revisited

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We give a necessary and sufficient condition on an -algebra for which orthomorphisms, -linear operators, and -orthomorphisms on the order dual are the same class of operators.

Hopf algebras and topological recursion [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2015
We consider a model for topological recursion based on the Hopf Algebra of planar binary trees of Loday and Ronco. We show that extending this Hopf Algebra by identifying pairs of nearest neighbor leaves and producing in this way graphs with loops we obtain the full recursion formula of Eynard and Orantin.

Statistical Manifolds with almost Quaternionic Structures and Quaternionic Kähler-like Statistical Submersions

open access: yesEntropy, 2015
In this paper we investigate statistical manifolds with almost quaternionic structures. We define the concept of quaternionic Kähler-like statistical manifold and derive the main properties of quaternionic Kähler-like statistical submersions, extending ...

Measure continuous derivations on von Neumann algebras and applications to L^2-cohomology

open access: yes, 2013
We prove that norm continuous derivations from a von Neumann algebra into the algebra of operators affiliated with its tensor square are automatically continuous for both the strong operator topology and the measure topology.

A survey on the geometry of production models in economics

open access: yesArab Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2017
In this article we survey selected recent results on the geometry of production models, focussing on the main production functions that are usually analyzed in economics, namely homogeneous, homothetic, quasi-sum and quasi-product production functions.

Mackey Q-algebras; pp. 40–53 [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Estonian Academy of Sciences, 2017
Main properties of the topology defined by a bornology on a topological linear space and main properties of Mackey Q-algebras are presented. Relationships of Mackey Q-algebras with other classes of topological algebras are described.

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

A note on static spaces

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2021
Static perfect fluid spaces are of great interest in metric theories of gravitation, they being used in building realistic models of some compact objects, like neutron stars and white dwarfs.

The colored symmetric and exterior algebras [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2020
In this extended abstract we present colored generalizations of the symmetric algebra and its Koszul dual, the exterior algebra. The symmetric group Sn acts on the multilinear components of these algebras.

Comparison of topologies on *-algebras of locally measurable operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We consider the locally measure topology $t(\mathcal{M})$ on the *-algebra $LS(\mathcal{M})$ of all locally measurable operators affiliated with a von Neumann algebra $\mathcal{M}$.
