CSRcalculator: A reproducible framework for understanding plant ecological strategies
Understanding how plants respond to environmental change is essential for conserving biodiversity and managing ecosystems under climate change. We developed CSRcalculator, an open‐source platform that brings together major competitor, stress‐tolerator, ruderal (CSR) models to make ecological strategy classification accessible, reproducible and scalable.

It remains unclear how many plant species are not yet recorded by science. We illustrated the process by which species of the pineapple family in tropical America have been newly described to science to date, and we estimated how many species may still await scientific discovery in this group.

Supervised Protein Structure Classification Using Topological Persistence With DeltaFold
ABSTRACT Recent advances in protein structure prediction have considerably increased the number of available structures, underscoring the need for scalable and accurate methods to compare and classify this huge amount of data. Current approaches based on sequence alignment or structural superposition often lack sensitivity and/or are computationally ...

Impact of Packaging and Recycling Systems on Material Recirculation: A Stage‐Decomposition Model
A system‐level view emerges from decomposing recycling into four stages (participation, collection, sorting and process yield), diagnosing constraints and targeting interventions. Cumulative equivalent uses (CEUs) quantify long‐term retention, revealing marginal improvements at high baselines generate disproportionately larger gains than low‐baseline ...

New views of some invariants associated with the Cartesian 2D velocity gradient tensor
Vorticity and divergence of horizontal flow are fundamental quantities in meteorology; both are linear functions of the four elements of the 2D velocity gradient tensor and both are formally unchanged under coordinate rotation. We explore four quadratic functions of the elements that are geometrically invariant in this sense, finding some novel ...
