Analysis of Extended Algebraic Immunity of Boolean Functions
AbstractAlgebraic immunity (AI) is a new cryptographic criterion proposed against algebraic attacks. Extended algebraic immunity (EAI) extends the concept of algebraic immunity, whose point is that a Boolean function f may be replaced by another Boolean function fc called the algebraic complement of f In this paper, we investigate EAI of Boolean ...

NOISE IMMUNITY OF THE ALGEBRAIC GEOMETRIC CODES
Linear block noise-immune codes constructed according to algebraic curves (algebraic geometric codes) are considered, their design properties are evaluated, algorithms of construction and decoding are studied. The energy efficiency of the transmission of discrete messages by M-ary orthogonal signals in the application of algebraic geometric codes is ...

Algebraic Immunities of Functions over Finite Fields
A general mathematical definition for a function from $GF(q)^n$ to $GF(q)^m$ to resist to cryptanalytic attacks is developed. It generalize the definition of Algebraic Immunity for Stream Cipher to any finite field and also Block Cipher. This algebraic immunity correspond to equations with low leading term according a monomial ordering.

Extended algebraic immunity of symmetric Boolean function
Boolean functions with optimal algebraic immunity play an important role in stream ciphers.Based on the univariate polynomial representation of Boolean functions,a construction of Boolean functions with maximum extended algebraic immunity (EAI) is ...

Efficient Computation of Algebraic Immunity for Algebraic and Fast Algebraic Attacks [PDF]
In this paper we propose several efficient algorithms for assessing the resistance of Boolean functions against algebraic and fast algebraic attacks when implemented in LFSR-based stream ciphers. An algorithm is described which permits to compute the algebraic immunity d of a Boolean function with n variables in $\mathcal{O}(D^2)$ operations, for $D ...
