Firm‐to‐Firm Trade: Imports, Exports, and the Labor Market
Customs data reveal the heterogeneity and granularity of relationships among buyers and sellers, showing how more exports to a destination break down into more firms selling there and more buyers per exporter. We develop a quantitative general equilibrium model of firm‐to‐firm matching that builds on this insight to separate the roles of iceberg costs ...

results on the immunity of boolean functions against probabilistic algebraic attacks [PDF]
In this paper, we study the immunity of Boolean functions against probabilistic algebraic attacks. We first show that there are functions, using as filters in a linear feedback shift register based nonlinear filter generator, such that probabilistic ...

The inhibitory immune checkpoints HLA‐G and CD47 are expressed on certain tumor types and inhibit immune cells in the tumor microenvironment. DSP216 binds specifically to cancer cells expressing both HLA‐G and CD47, and blocks their inhibitory signaling.

Characterizations on Algebraic Immunity for Multi-Output Boolean Functions [PDF]
The general principle for algebraic attack for multi-output stream ciphers was proposed by Courtois [6]. Furthermore, Armknecht, and Krause gave a definition of algebraic immunity for multi-output Boolean functions in [2], and investigated some ...

Symmetries in Genetic Systems and the Concept of Geno-Logical Coding
The genetic code of amino acid sequences in proteins does not allow understanding and modeling of inherited processes such as inborn coordinated motions of living bodies, innate principles of sensory information processing, quasi-holographic properties ...

This study investigates how CTCs survive varying shear stress during hematogenous metastasis. We uncover a self‐protection mechanism, by which non‐adherent CTCs adapt to high shearing milieu through accumulated cytoplasmic myosin‐mediated disruption of myosin‐actin binding, attenuating force transmission into chromatin to protect CTCs from shear ...

Integrated machine learning screening of five gene expression omnibus datasets and 113 algorithm combinations identified three candidate diagnostic biomarkers for neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis: SLC26A3 (downregulated), CCL20, and CXCL5 (both upregulated). Single‐cell RNA sequencing localized CCL20 upregulation predominantly to macrophages.

Accuracy and speed of algorithms play an important role in the reconstruction of temperature field measurements by acoustic tomography. Existing algorithms are based on static models which only consider the measurement information.

On the (Fast) Algebraic Immunity of Boolean Power Functions [PDF]
The (fast) algebraic immunity, including (standard) algebraic immunity and the resistance against fast algebraic attacks, has been considered as an important cryptographic property for Boolean functions used in stream ciphers.
