Unveiling the Charisma of Artificial Intelligence: How Voice Assistants Captivate Users and Emotionally Influence User Experience

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although studies have explored user experience (UX) with artificial intelligence (AI)‐powered voice assistants (VAs), the cognitive, psychological, and emotional factors affecting user engagement and experience with VAs have yet to be investigated in depth. Drawing on cognitive absorption and broaden‐and‐build theories, this study investigates

Evolutionary dynamics on a regular networked structured and unstructured multi‐population

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract In this paper, we study collective decision‐making in a multi‐population framework, where groups of individuals represent whole populations that interact by means of a regular network. Each group consists of a number of players and every player can choose between two options.

Cholinergic System Changes in Dopa‐Unresponsive Freezing of Gait in Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesMovement Disorders, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Freezing of gait (FoG) is a debilitating mobility disturbance that becomes increasingly resistant to dopaminergic pharmacotherapies with advancing Parkinson's disease (PD). The pathophysiology underlying the response of FoG to dopaminergic treatment is poorly understood.

Extending the hyper‐logistic model to the random setting: New theoretical results with real‐world applications

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
We develop a full randomization of the classical hyper‐logistic growth model by obtaining closed‐form expressions for relevant quantities of interest, such as the first probability density function of its solution, the time until a given fixed population is reached, and the population at the inflection point.
