ABSTRACT We develop and analyze a fully discrete finite difference approximation for a damped shear beam model with mixed boundary conditions and no rotational inertia. The absence of a second‐order time derivative in the rotational equation gives rise to an asymmetric temporal structure.

ABSTRACT Purpose Transmit (B1+) and receive (B1−) sensitivities of parallel‐transmit/receive RF array are a prerequisite for modern ultra‐high‐field MRI. Their accurate mapping remains challenging for coils with high transmit dynamic range, particularly in regions with low combined‐mode B1+ magnitude, where standard reconstruction is impaired by noise.

Linear Mechatronic Modeling of Rectangular Tank Sloshing Dynamics
ABSTRACT Sloshing dynamics in partially filled tanks can strongly influence system‐level behavior when fluid motion couples with rigid‐body dynamics. This paper presents a linear and acausal two‐dimensional sloshing model for rectangular tanks, based on the reformulation of established sloshing theory within a modular, multi‐domain modeling framework ...

ABSTRACT Vibration isolation has long been a critical area of research, with the design of isolators based on the mechanical properties of Euler buckling beams representing one of the primary approaches. Traditionally, the focus has been on utilizing the negative stiffness characteristics of a post‐buckled Euler beam in parallel with positive stiffness
