Asymptotic solutions of singularly perturbed linear differential-algebraic equations with periodic coefficients

open access: yesМатематичні Студії, 2023
The paper deals with the problem of constructing asymptotic solutions for singular perturbed linear differential-algebraic equations with periodic coefficients. The case of multiple roots of a characteristic equation is studied.

Algebraic solutions of Jacobi equations [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics of Computation, 2009
We propose an algorithm to compute exactly the algebraic solutions of Jacobi equations over the projective plane.

Analysis and soliton solutions of biofilm model by new extended direct algebraic method

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2023
In this paper, the examination of soliton solutions of the biofilm model with the help of a new extended direct algebraic method is expressed. Besides the exact solutions, the existence of these solutions is also discussed with the help of the Schauder ...

Algebraic general solutions of algebraic ordinary differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2005 international symposium on Symbolic and algebraic computation, 2005
In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for an algebraic ODE to have an algebraic general solution. For a first order autonomous ODE, we give an optimal bound for the degree of its algebraic general solutions and a polynomial-time algorithm to compute an algebraic general solution if it exists.

Classification of cubic equations

open access: yesLietuvos Matematikos Rinkinys, 2018
Rather unexpectably all real equations of the fourth degree are solvable by real means. So we can classify all real equations of the third and fourth degree. In this article we classify real cubics. The real quartics will be classified in another article.

Families of solutions of algebraic Riccati equations [PDF]

open access: yesSystems & Control Letters, 2019
We consider Homogeneous Algebraic Riccati Equations in the general situation when the matrix of the dynamics can be "mixed". We show that in this case the equation may have infinitely many families of solutions. An analysis of these families is carried over and explicit formulas are derived. We also derive sufficient conditions under which the union of

Solitary wave structures of a family of 3D fractional WBBM equation via the tanh–coth approach

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics, 2022
The fractional nonlinear partial differential equation (FNLPDE), such as the family of 3D fractional Wazwaz–Benjamin–Bona–Mahony (WBBM) equations, are investigated in this work. We engage the tanh–coth method for this family of FNLPDE to obtain different

Black-brane solution for C2 algebra [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2002
Black p-brane solutions for a wide class of intersection rules and Ricci-flat “internal” spaces are considered. They are defined up to moduli functions Hs obeying nonlinear differential equations with certain boundary conditions imposed. A new solution with intersections corresponding to the Lie algebra C2 is obtained.

On algebraic solutions of algebraic Pfaff equations [PDF]

open access: yesStudia Mathematica, 1995
The algebraic Pfaff equation (1) \(\sum^{r+ 1}_{i= 1} P_i(x) dx_i= 0\), where the \(P_i(x)\) are homogeneous polynomials of degree \(m\) and \(\sum P_i x_i= 0\), is considered. The form of the Pfaff equation (1) with the property that the given algebraic hypersurfaces \(S_i\), \(i= 1,\dots, p\), are solutions of (1) is described.
