Algebraic structure of space and field

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2001
We investigate an algebraic structure of the space of solutions of autonomous nonlinear differential equations of certain type. It is shown that for these equations infinitely many binary algebraic laws of addition of solutions exist.

An algebraic method for quasi-linear first-order ODEs

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2018
In this paper, we consider the class of quasi-linear first-order ODEs of the form y′ = P(x; y), where P is a polynomial in y with coefficients in ℂ(x), and study their algebraic solutions.

Travelling wave solutions of generalized coupled Zakharov–Kuznetsov and dispersive long wave equations

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2016
In this manuscript, we constructed different form of new exact solutions of generalized coupled Zakharov–Kuznetsov and dispersive long wave equations by utilizing the modified extended direct algebraic method.

Algebraic solutions to recursion schemes

open access: yesJournal of Computer and System Sciences, 1987
The search for solutions of the set of equations associated with recursion schemes of programs and the description of the set of such solutions constitute one of the principal problems in modern schematics. The paper deals with the algebraic theory of recursion schemes which includes tree algebras and the algebras obtained from congruence on trees ...

Analytical technique for solving the quadratic nonlinear oscillator

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2020
Recently, an approximate solution of the quadratic nonlinear oscillator has been presented based on the harmonic balance method. According to this method a set of nonlinear algebraic equations appear among the unknown coefficients of the several harmonic

Solution to algebraic equations of degree~4 and the fundamental theorem of algebra by Carl Friedrich Gauss

open access: yesAnnales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis: Studia Mathematica, 2022
Since Geronimo Cardano, algebraic equations of degree 4 have been solved analytically. Frequently, the solution algorithm is given in its entirety. We discovered two algorithms that lead to the same resolvente, each with two solutions; therefore, six ...

A new approach for solving fractional differential-algebraic equations

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science, 2017
In this paper, the Bezier curves method is implemented to give approximate solutions for fractional differential-algebraic equations (FDAEs). This methods in applied mathematics can be used as approximated method for obtaining approximate solutions for ...

Difficulties experienced by students in the interpretation of the solutions of ordinary differential equations that models a problem

open access: yesEnseñanza de las Ciencias, 2011
In this work we analyzed some of the difficulties that arise when the student interpret the solutions of Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE) when they are expressed in graphical and algebraic form.
