An iterative thresholding algorithm for linear inverse problems with a sparsity constraint [PDF]
We consider linear inverse problems where the solution is assumed to have a sparse expansion on an arbitrary preassigned orthonormal basis. We prove that replacing the usual quadratic regularizing penalties by weighted đpâpenalties on the coefficients of

Bâcell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (BâCLL) and monoclonal Bâcell lymphocytosis (MBL) show altered proteomes and phosphoproteomes, analyzed using mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, and western blotting. Identifying 2970 proteins and 316 phosphoproteins, including 55 novel phosphopeptides, we reveal BCR and NFâkÎČ/STAT3 signaling in disease ...

Target Association of Heterogeneous Sensors Based on Nearest-neighbor and Topology
A new data association algorithm is proposed in this paper for heterogeneous sensors information fusion system, which consists of Radar and high-dynamic-range IR, based on joint usage of the nearest-neighbor (NN) and the topology similarity. The proposed

This study develops a semiâsupervised classifier integrating multiâgenomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.

Systematic profiling of cancerâfibroblast interactions reveals drug combinations in ovarian cancer
Fibroblasts, cells in the tumor environment, support ovarian cancer cell growth and alter morphology and drug response. We used fibroblast and cancer cell coâculture models to test 528 drugs and discovered new drugs for combination treatment. We showed that adding Vorinostat or Birinapant to standard chemotherapy may improve drug response, suggesting ...

Learning Contour-Based Mid-Level Representation for Shape Classification
This article proposes a novel contour-based mid-level shape description method for shape classification. This method resolves the shortcomings of low-level shape descriptors in dealing with the shapes of objects with large intra-class changes and non ...
