Base-Mediated One-Pot Synthesis of Aliphatic Diazirines for Photoaffinity Labeling
Aliphatic diazirines have been widely used as prominent photophores for photoaffinity labeling owing to their relatively small size which can reduce the steric effect on the natural interaction between ligands and proteins.

Facet‐Specific PbS Quantum Dot Passivation Using Halide Perovskites for SWIR Photodetectors
PbS quantum dots (QDs) are emerging as powerful short‐wave infrared photodetectors, yet the passivation mechanism of large QDs by perovskites ‐ critical for their stability ‐ remains unexplained. Here, we unveil the ligand structure of CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPI)‐passivated 4‐nm PbS QDs using FTIR, XPS, SEM, NMR, and DFT.

Substrate specific hydrolysis of aromatic and aromatic-aliphatic esters in orchid tissue cultures
We found that tissue cultures of higher plants were able, similarly as microorganisms, to transform low-molecular-weight chemical compounds. In tissue cultures of orchids (Cymbidium 'Saint Pierre' and Dendrobium phalaenopsis) acetates of phenols and ...

3D Printing of Stretchable, Compressible and Conductive Porous Polyurethane for Soft Robotics
A 3D‐printable porous dopamine‐polyurethane acrylate elastomer results in conductive, stretchable, and compressible structures that can be metallized in situ through catechol‐mediated silver reduction. The resulting material function as both compliant soft robot with a and strain sensors without complex assemblies, enabling fully 3D‐printed soft ...

Kinetic dataset - aqueous oxidation of aliphatic acids by hydroxyl radical
In the five spreadsheets included in this dataset, the values of the bimolecular reaction rate coefficients for the aqueous oxidation of aliphatic carboxylic acids (protonated forms), carboxylate anions (deprotonated forms) by hydroxyl radical (OH), and ...

Catalytic oxidation of non-activated aliphatic alcohols with molecular oxygen is rather challenging, especially in an aqueous medium in the absence of an additional base. Bismuth is usually used as a promoter of platinum-based catalysts.
