Alizarin Red S staining of rDPC in mineralizing culture.

open access: yes, 2012
Mineral deposition was examined using Alizarin Red S staining. rDPC were investigated after d3 (A), d7 (B), d14 (C) and d21 (D). Clear mineralizing nodules were observed in the osteogenically induced cultures at d21 (D).

Adsorption of Alizarin Red S onto Nano-Sized Silica Modified with γ-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane

open access: yesAdsorption Science & Technology, 2011
The adsorption of Alizarin Red S (ARS) dye onto nano-sized silica modified with γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (AMNS) was studied. The effects of the initial pH and concentration of the ARS solution, the AMNS dosage, the contact time and temperature on the

Marking of burbot Lota lota (L.) juveniles using commercial feed as a vector of fluorochrome application

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science, 2015
The effectiveness of restocking is an important element of sustainable fishery. In restocking programmes, where larvae and juveniles are used mass marking is carried out with non-toxic dyes such as fluorochromes transferred into the fish body by ...

A Dual‐Bioresponsive and Programmable Microneedle Matrix as a Bioinspired Coupler for Orchestrating Diabetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.

N, S Co‐Doped Carbon Quantum Dots‐Riboflavin Composite Photosensitizers for Enhanced Iontophoresis‐Assisted Corneal Cross‐Linking

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study explores the use of N, S co‐doped carbon quantum dots (NS‐CQDs) as carriers for riboflavin, creating NS‐CQDs‐RF composite photosensitizers. These composites improve riboflavin absorption, enhance ROS generation efficiency, and preserve corneal epithelium integrity.
