Advanced Dental Composite Technology via Bisilanized Dual‐Action Nanofillers for Biofilm Control

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multimodal research strategy has led to the development of an innovative resin‐based composite (RBC) with dual antibacterial action. The S_CM‐RBC formula showed strong antibiofilm activity, excellent mechanical strength, and biosafety. It effectively controlled oral bacteria in prevention of caries recurrence, and maintained pulp health in a rat ...

Hyperlipidemia Aggravates Alveolar Bone Loss via Periodontal Ligament Stem Cell Ferroptosis Through GSK3β Dependent Ubiquitin‐Mediated NRF2 Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lipid metabolic stress triggers ferroptosis in PDLSCs through the GSK3β/NRF2 pathway, thereby aggravating periodontal bone loss. Upregulated GSK3β promotes NRF2 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation via β‐TrCP, suppressing NRF2 nuclear translocation and antioxidant target expression.

Kinetics of alkaline phosphatase in lake sediment associated with cage culture of Oreochromis niloticus

open access: yes, 2001
Variations in kinetics of alkaline phosphatase occurring in different sites of sediment associated with cage culture of Oreochromis niloticus in a shallow Chinese freshwater lake (Lake Donghu) were described. In addition, the kinetic parameters of each 2.

IMMUNOLOGICAL DIFFERENTIATION OF HUMAN TISSUE-NONSPECIFIC TYPE ALKALINE PHOSPHATASES BY A MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY TO THE ENZYME OF HUMAN OSTEOBLAST-LIKE CELLS

open access: yes, 1995
Monoclonal antibodies against alkaline phosphatase [ALP; ortho-phosphoric monoester phosphohydrolase, alkaline optimum, EC 3.1.3.1.] of cultured human osteoblast-like cells (HBC) were raised in mice.

Bamboo‐Like Whiskers‐Reinforced Bioceramics Accelerate Large Segmental Bone Regeneration via Dual Modulation of Type‐H Vessels and Osteoinduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The graphical abstract image of bamboo‐like whisker‐reinforced Ca‐P bioceramics accelerating large segmental bone regeneration. ABSTRACT Regenerative repair of segmental bone defect remains a major clinical challenge. The conventional mental implants suffer from mechanical strength mismatch and long‐term foreign bodies presence.

Variations in kinetics of alkaline phosphatase in sediments of eutrophic, shallow, Chinese lakes

open access: yes, 2007
Kinetics of alkaline phosphatase in sediments of a shallow Chinese freshwater lake (Lake Donghu) were investigated. Spatially, among 20 sites sampled, V-max and K-m values of alkaline phosphatase in surface sediments were higher in the zone adjacent to ...

Phosphatase-Triggered Guest Release from a Cyclodextrin Complex

open access: yes, 2016
A synthetic supramolecular system is described that models the effect of phosphoryl transfer in molecular recognition. β-Cyclodextrin-6A-phosphate (pCD), which is shown to be a substrate of alkaline phosphatase, binds cationic aromatic guests, including ...

Vertical variation in dissolved alkaline phosphatase activity in a shallow eutrophic lake determined in reverse micelles

open access: yes, 2005
We evaluated the feasibility of microencapsulating dissolved alkaline phosphatase of a water body into reverse micelle systems prepared by hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide as a surfactant in cyclohexane and 1-butanol as co-surfactant.
