Cu(I)‐Catalyzed Interrupted Cycloaddition Between Azides, Ag(I)‐Acetylides, and Diorganoyl Dichalcogenides

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
Unleashing the power of Ag(I)‐acetylides with LiCl/dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). The LiCl/DMSO mixture have an unexplored ability to dramatically increase the solubility of Ag(I)‐acetylides regardless of their molecular structure, which is explored to achieve high chemoselectivity in the Cu(I)‐catalyzed interrupted cycloaddition between organic azides, Ag(

eAmidation: An Electrochemical Amidation of Aldehydes via the Oxidation of N‐Aryl Hydrazones

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
The indirect electrochemical oxidation of N‐aryl hydrazones offers an efficient approach to access amides from aldehydes and amines. The AZADO‐mediated reaction enables the selective synthesis of a broad range of valuable amides using readily available aldehydes.

C–H Homocoupling of Arenes via Pd/S,O‐Ligand Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
An efficient C‐H homocoupling of arenes via Pd/S,O‐ligand catalytic system is reported. This method can be applied to a series of arenes using O2 as oxidant under room temperature and is also applicable for late‐stage homocoupling of pharmaceutical derivatives.

Solvent‐ and Transition Metal‐Free Mechanochemical Synthesis of 2‐Thiazolines and S‐Thiocarbamates

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
Solvent‐ and transition metal‐free synthetic pathways for obtaining 2‐thiazolines and S‐thiocarbamates, based on the mechanochemical process of addition of chloroalkyl iso(thio)cyanates to thiols catalyzed by cheap and commercially available K2CO3, are designed and optimized.

Heterogeneous Copper‐Catalyzed 1,4‐Conjugate Additions of Grignard Reagents to Cyclic and Linear Enones

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
The 1,4‐conjugate addition of Grignard reagents to various cyclic and linear enones using a heterogeneous catalyst is reported. Recyclable copper nanoparticles immobilized on polysaccharide support (e.g., cellulose, chitosan) enable high chemo‐ and regioselectivity.
